Why I choose nursing as my course???

Ok, as stated above. Well actually choosing a course is a tuff decision to make.. I do not know whether to choose a course that I like or a course that has a bright future ahead. I am stuck between both. As a new graduate I was constantly asked that question by my friends and family if what course do I like? So because nursing is “ kurso ng bayan” so majority Wins..!!!!!Lol.. So I take up nursing without knowing Kung unsa xa ka kapuy ug kalisud noh?! So I often ask myself why I chose nursing and what the essence of nursing means to me Some of my answers include: caring for others, teaching patients and families, advocating for the most vulnerable of patients, and building relationships with patients, families, and other professionals. But the very important one is the ability to be present with patients and families at the best and the worst of times of their lives. Sometimes you don't have to say a word. Just being there-knowing that it is best not to say anything-listening, holding a patient's hand, crying and laughing and supporting a family member is what is most meaningful to me. But as time goes by I learn to Appreciate and love the nursing course. And now, I am happy and enjoying it. I love being challenged. I love sleeping late at night with all the eye bugs in the morning.lol I finally found my happiness in this course.
